Share your goals and health history through a guided intake, then submit your assessment. What happens next depends on the state you live in. In some states a licensed physician reviews your health history and prescribes without a visit; in others, you meet your physician by video first. Either way, if treatment is appropriate they send a prescription to our partner pharmacy, which prepares and ships it to your door — and if it is not appropriate, they will tell you and explain why. If a therapy is right for you, your provider writes a prescription tailored to your needs. You're treated as an individual patient with a real provider relationship — not a catalog order.

What New Tides does — and doesn't — do
We provide the care. A pharmacy prepares the medication.
New Tides is a telehealth platform. We provide the evaluation, the provider relationship, the prescription, and your ongoing care. We do not manufacture, compound, sell, or ship medication. Your medication is prepared and dispensed by a licensed pharmacy that operates under federal and state pharmacy law.

Plans start at $200/month, all cash — no insurance, no surprise bills. Every plan includes:

Your medication is included in that price. If your dose changes, your price does not.
Many medications offered through New Tides are compounded — prepared for you individually by a licensed pharmacy rather than mass-manufactured. Compounded medications are not FDA-approved.

Who prescribes my medication?

Are these medications FDA-approved?
Compounded medications are not FDA-approved, and they are not reviewed by the FDA for safety or effectiveness. They are prepared by a state-licensed compounding pharmacy for an individual patient against a valid prescription. Your physician will go through the risks and benefits with you before you start.
How do I know if I’m eligible?
Eligibility is decided during the intake — before you pay. The intake asks a series of yes/no health questions, and if your answers mean a treatment isn't safe or appropriate for you, you're screened out before you pay anything. Once you complete the intake and start your plan, you're eligible for care — and which specific compounded medication is right for you is then decided together by you and your provider.
